Patterned Cotton

Silkscreenprinted on handmade paper, this print features repeats of a well known textile motif, which stand in for a cotton plant, waiting to be picked. Created by Aditi Jain for the visual anthology, Travelling Patterns, it is part of a sequence of images that comprise traditional Indian textile motifs, and which tell a story of weaving.
